EOI open to be part of one of the largest public exhibitions in Victoria

Immerse; Westfield; Faus to Gallego Full speed ahead; Mixed

Immerse is an exhibition that defies the traditional confines of an art gallery. It dares you to find and experience art in a whole new way.

Covering over 100km2, 30 artists in 30 venues across the City of Knox, it’s a conversation between your work and an audience of thousands.

In 2016 photographers, illustrators, sculptors, installation artists and painters wowed us with their talent and creative voice. This year, we are calling for artists with bold ambition, across all mediums to show us our commonalities and our differences, our fears and inspirations. Art can bring us together, and that is transcendent.

In being part of Immerse, you will be mentored by an experienced curator who will work with you to develop your work and practice. A substantive marketing campaign will draw in the crowds, and there are prize categories are for Best Emerging Artist, Young Artist, Best Overall, and People’s Choice.

Questions: Immerse Project Officer, Julie Andrews 03 9298 8039  or on immerse@knox.vic.gov.au

The Immerse exhibition will run from 11 November to 11 December 2017.

Applications close 5pm Thursday 1 June 2017
