Banyule City Council is seeking expressions of interest from artists to participate in the Pinpoint Art in Public Spaces Program in July 2017.
This bi-annual program of ephemeral artworks aims to invigorate Banyule’s public spaces, encourages people to experience the arts in unexpected places and to think about the city differently.
We looking for small, new and original, site-specific art projects. Works will be one-off, ephemeral art experiences delivered in a public space within Banyule. It may be contemporary performance, visual art, digital-media, writing or a combination of art forms. We are looking for work that is engaging, accessible and invites contemplation.
You tell us which space you’d like to activate and how.
Applicants must live, work, play or practice in Banyule - or demonstrate their connection to the municipality.
Works in this round must be delivered between Saturday 1 July and Sunday 30 July.
Submisions close Wednesday 31 May 2017.
