The program aims to invigorate Banyule’s public spaces, encourages people to experience the arts in unexpected places and to think about the city differently.
We looking for small, new and original, site-specific art projects. Works will be one-off, ephemeral art experiences delivered in a public space within Banyule – a shopping strip, car park, laneway, swimming pool, local park or even a bus stop – it’s up to you. You tell us which space you’d like to activate and how.
It may be contemporary performance, visual art, digital-media, writing or a combination of art forms. We are looking for work that is engaging, accessible and invites contemplation. Think creatively about bringing life to a location that is significant to your community. Grants of $1,000 are awarded to successul project applications. Artists of all abilities and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Works in this round must be delivered between 1 - 30 September 2018.
Applications Close Tuesday 31 July.
