Mandorla Art Award

Entries are now open for the 2018 Mandorla Art Award, Australia’s most significant thematic Christian Art prize.

Artists will interpret the theme taken from the book of Revelations 21:1-2

“And then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” (Rev 21:1-2).

There is $37,000 in prizemoney including the $25,000 Mandorla Award (acquisitive). Entry is open to artists from across Australia in a range of mediums.

The exhibition of finalists’ work will be shown at Perth’s Turner Galleries from 1- 30 June 2018, with selected works touring to New Norcia Museum & Art Gallery and St John of God Health Campuses in Perth.
