City of Stirling Public Art Commission – Request for Quotation (Expired)

The City of Stirling is commissioning a mural to increase vibrancy and welcome newcomers, community groups and passers-by to the Mirrabooka Community Hub, located across from the Mirrabooka Bus Station on Sudbury Road.

The City supports Public Art that contributes towards creating a strong sense of place, promotes the expression of local identity, responds to the culture and character of the community and enhances the urban environment. The work should engage the community and create a lasting impression in the minds of visitors.

A professional artist or group of artists will be engaged to develop, design and produce the public art project which can cover multiple surfaces of the building. The overall aim of the work is to reflect the cultural diversity of the local community, creating a sense of the centre as a meeting place and serve to increase community pride of the diversity of the people and services at the centre.

Deadline for quotation: Friday 13 April 2018
