Front Up


Western Sydney professional and emerging artists with mental health concerns and/or disability. Starts 12 June

Take your career to the next level and be part of this exciting initiative from Front Up Arts and Cultural Program starting 12 June.  The Emerge Program will visit the Art Gallery New South Wales on 19 & 20 of June 2018, where you will respond to Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes. Workshops continue once a week until the 5th September 2018 at the Front Up Hub in Seven Hills.  This program includes a panel discussion at the Art Gallery New South Wales and collaborative professional development opportunities with Artspace.  The program will also  include an installation.

Work with professional artists, collaborating and experimenting with multi-art forms and by taking part in this Emerge Program you will have the opportunity to evolve and develop your career, add to your portfolio of work and increase your opportunity for further education and/or employment within the arts sector.

Artists taking part in this program will be considered for the following positions opening up in 2019:

  • Front Up lead artists who will co-facilitate and lead future Front Up Arts and Cultural and Arts programs.
  • Volunteers to assist and participate in future Front Up programs.
  • Member of the Front Up Disability Led Advisory Committee for 2019/2020.

Please note this is a no cost program for people with mental health concerns and/or disability.
