Exciting Public Art & Residency Opportunity - Cardinia Shire

Cardinia Shire Council is entering an exciting new phase in its public art development and is seeking expressions of interest from professional artists to develop new permanent public artworks within the shire.

There are two distinct projects in this EOI round:

  1. Hills Hub Project - the commission of an internal suspended artwork to the value of $65,500, to be located inside the brand new Hills Hub in Emerald.

  2. Ranges Ward Project - the commission of two public artworks to the total value of $78,000, located along the walking tracks joining the towns of Emerald, Gembrook and Cockatoo. This second commission includes a residency/community engagement component in the concept development phase.

Please note each project requires a separate application.

For more information please refer to Cardinia Shire Council’s Public Notices webpage.
