Public Art Opportunities - Karratha Health Campus

Expressions of Interest (EOI) from artists (or artist teams) within Western Australia are being sought for public artworks to be included within the new Karratha Health Campus.

The incorporation of art within a health campus environment not only benefits physical health and well-being but also has social, cultural, emotional and spiritual benefits. It is underpinned by a culture of care for the whole person and supports the well-being of patients as well as staff and visitors alike.

Artworks will be commissioned through a process based upon the WA State Government’s Percent for Art Scheme.

Opportunities for both 2D and 3D artworks exist within the Karratha Health Campus. These will sit alongside works already in the Western Australian Country Health Services collection.

2D artworks will be procured via two methods - Direct Purchasing of existing work and New commissioning through Concept Design. 3D artworks will be procured by commissioning through Concept Design.

Artists (or artist teams) must demonstrate a connection to Karratha and its surrounding region.

Artists (or artist teams) are invited to submit an EOI by: 5:00pm (AWST) Wednesday, August 2, 2017
