Mehra’s photographs project an aura of quiet and peace, even though they are taken in region that is known for being anything but. In his third solo exhibition at Alcaston Gallery since 2005, Mehra’s Kashmir series is a culmination of five years’ work through which he aimed to capture the beauty within day-to-day life in Kashmir.
