Emerging artists: too much too early?

Six concurrent exhibitions survey emergent art across Australia betray an imbalance in our attention on younger artists.

Anyone surveying the landscape of exhibitions this month could be lead to believe that we have an obsession with youth.

It reads a little like a cocktail list: Look Out, Start Up, New, Now, Hatched and Redlands all exhibition that celebrate artists emerging onto an art scene.
