Emerging artists: too much too early?

Six concurrent exhibitions survey emergent art across Australia betray an imbalance in our attention on younger artists.

​Anyone surveying the landscape of exhibitions this month could be lead to believe that we have an obsession with youth.

It reads a little like a cocktail list: Look Out, Start Up, New, Now, Hatched and Redlands all exhibition that celebrate artists emerging onto an art scene.
