Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) announce new mural for foyer, reflecting Australia’s immigration debate.

The work, commissioned by artist Guan Wei, and called The Journey to Australia 2013 is representative of his experience as an immigrant from China in 1989. It also signifies the MCA’s location as a site where the First Fleet came ashore on Gadigal land in 1788.
