Australian confirmed dead in Tunisian museum rampage

In a site usually reserved for beauty and humanity, gunmen kill 19 foreign tourists who were celebrating Tunisian culture at the National Museum.

Gunmen stormed the National Museum in Tunis yesterday, (18 March) killing 19 people, 17 of them reported to be tourists.

Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid has confirmed that among them was an Australian. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is yet to release a statement.
