Regional touring faces Brandis’ chopping block

Touring exhibitions that draw half a million visitors annually across regional and remote Australia are under threat as a result of the recent Budget changes.

National Exhibitions Touring Support (NETS) Australia tours over 50 exhibitions annually to remote, regional and metropolitan locations, reaching audiences of more than 500,000 people across nearly 7.7 million square kilometres and featuring works by over 1000 artists.
