The capital campaign for a new Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) has been a case study in how strategic, bigger picture economics can create a case for a regional gallery.
The Museum has moved from local government to State Government support and today nailed the big one – election dependent. The Coalition joined the State Government of Victoria and Council in promising a $10 million contribution to a new SAM.
