Melbourne-based artist Ash Keating has won the inaugural Guirguis New Art Prize (GNAP) for his work West Park Proposition.

The GNAP recognises the importance and diversity of contemporary art in local communities, while supporting the careers of these artists.

The winning piece is a three channel and screen video installation. Multiple camera video documentation has been utilised in the work, demonstrating action painting that took place in Truganina in September 2012.
