Rekko Rennie, Visible, invisible: the foundation stone of the Lyon HouseMuseum Galleries

The Lyon HouseMuseum in Kew is the private home of the Lyon family and of their extensive contemporary art collection. Committed to sharing their collection, Corbett and Yueji Lyon already open their home to small groups on limited days.

But the Lyon HouseMuseum Galleries launched today will take that access to a new level. From mid-2018, a new building adjacent to the existing house will house a public contemporary art museum, funded by the Lyon family to the tune of $14.5 million.
