Senate hearing: arts messages for new PM

At the Senate hearing in Adelaide, Senators heard a plea that the new Prime Minister rethink the removal of $105 million from the Australia Council to the National Program for Excellence in the Arts (NPEA).

Steve Eland, Director of the Australian Experimental Art Foundation (or AEAF) cite the new PM’s statement that ‘a culture of engagement, of consultation, of collaboration [was​] so absolutely critical’.
