The sculpture, depicting the character of Piglet from Winnie the Pooh in shiny bright abstraction, will be the first thing fans of the Sacramento Kings see when entering the basketball stadium in Sacramento, California.

It is another of Koons’ famous colourful and optimistic works invoking childhood memories and the first in his Coloring Book series to have a permanent public home. The Coloring Book group of sculptures is part of Koons’ larger Celebration series, which include the shiny balloons animals which have transformed children’s party favours into iconic contemporary art.
