Commissioner of the 2014 TEFAF Art Market Report, Dr. Clare McAndrew; supplied.

It is a pretty phenomenal statement, to realise that the art market has recovered and grown with such a solid percentage. While some Australian galleries continue to struggle with the art market domestically (several announced closures last year), one might ask how such a report and its impact filters down to the mid market levels outside of its global centres of the UK, US and China.
