While Menzies Art Brands recorded a new record for Brett Whiteley’s work at auction with the sale of his iconic painting, The Armchair, which reached a hammer result of $3,927,272 (including buyer’s Premium), the balance of the 103 Lots up for sale largely came in within their estimates.
