NGV ranks top in Australian galleries in global attendance

NGV is ranked in the top 30 art museums internationally based on visitor figures, nearly 700,000 above other Aus galleries.

When the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) announced record attendances for its Melbourne Now exhibition we all noticed. We did not expect that the global art world would also notice, the exhibition clearly bolstering the gallery’s attendance figures for the past year, bumping it into the top thirty art museums ranked globally on visitor attendance.
