Australia Council announces next artist for Venice Biennale

The Australia Council has announce today that artist Angelica Mesiti and curator Juliana Engberg have been selected for Australia’s representation at the 58th International Art Exhibition, Venice Biennale 2019.

Mesiti lives between Paris and Sydney and has developed an international reputation for creating rich aesthetics and elegant expressions of social ideas, which draw the audience in with a familiarity and beauty.
