About the workshop
Rope sandals are a serious wardrobe contender this summer. Learn how to hand make your own rope sandals in this seriously fashionable no sew workshop. You’ll learn the tricks of the trade from experienced designer Nicole Corr from The Porcelain Tree.

This stylish workshop is presented in conjunction with Brisbane Fashion Month.

No sewing skills required!

What you’ll get:

+ All the tools and materials you need to make your sandals, including rope and leather soles
+ Guidance from experienced designer and teacher
+ Your very own sandals handcrafted by you!

About the Nicole from The Porcelain Tree

Nicole Corr has over 20 years’ experience in the fashion industry. She established her The Porcelain Tree label when she returned to Queensland after working for Ted Baker in London. Under her label she designs quality, well-made clothing and shoes. Nicole is passionate about sustainability in the fashion industry and works with Australian grown and made fabrics to create her stylish fashion designs. Through her workshops, Nicole aims to encourage people to develop their own style and reuse things they have at home to create clothes and shoes.

When Nicole isn’t designing and making for her label The Porcelain Tree, she is fashion lecturer and tutor in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
