This show takes a satirical look at and perceived victory and objectification of the body with a specifically female gaze on men. Highlighting the vulnerability involved in preparation and glorification of diet this body of work explores the spaces inbetween competing, the lead up and the let down after all is said and done.

Best known for her abstract forms and subversive titles, Anna Bishop is a multidisciplinary artist who explores different connections between painting and sculpture. Her work considers themes of spirituality, and beginnings and endings which are interlinked with social and environmental consciousnesses. She presents these issues with a dose of fear and fun.
