This ticketed exhibition is the result of the inaugural Robin Boyd Foundation Artist in Residence program and is presented by Australia’s first Centre for Projection Art. Working with the house’s iconic architecture and combining it with projected images Yandell Walton blurs the spaces between the actual and the virtual.

This new residency programme reaches out to artists whose practice explores the concepts of space and place. Artists can extend their own creative practice and create a work inspired by the modern design and architecture of the Boyd residence.
The Robin Boyd Foundation’s focus is to encourage design and creative thinking. It presents an active, innovative and ongoing series of public learning programs designed to increase awareness, understanding and participation in modern design and architecture. In January 2017, Walton spent an intensive 72 hours at Walsh Street exploring her practice of site responsive projection art. As a result of this generous residency and presented by the Centre for Projection Art, Walton will exhibit Resonance, eight site-responsive installations over 3 nights at 290 Walsh Street, South Yarra.
