Danielle's Darkroom

FLIGHT Exhibition

FLIGHT is the highly anticipated solo exhibition of West Australian photographic artist Danielle Briggs. Shot on film, these unique hand printed photographic works emerge from the darkroom for the first time to explore the relationship between man, beast and bird, in our ever-evolving quest to fly.

Open to the general public, this event will be the first of it's kind held inside the Royal Aero Club of WA, at Jandakot airport. This original and contemporary location offers sweeping views of one of the busiest airfields and largest aviation training bases in Australia.

The exhibition includes an new body of work produced by Danielle Briggs, containing rare images captured across Western Australia. Families are welcome to enjoy the exhibition while children can try their hand at making their own aircraft.

The Australian Geographic published photographer will also offer two photographic workshops to the public over the course of the exhibition.

The exhibition gives viewers the rare opportunity to appreciate the wonders of defying gravity - with both feet planted firmly on the ground.
