The City of Port Phillip seeks community members for its arts and heritage reference committees
The City of Port Phillip is seeking expressions of interest for four Council arts and heritage reference committees. As part of its commitment to good governance, quality decision-making and community participation, Council has a range of committees with external community representation. Reference Committee positions are voluntary and terms run from 2019 – 2022.
Cultural Development Fund Reference Committee – provides advice and expertise in assessment and recommendations for project grants and organisation funding for all art forms. (1-2 times annually)
Cultural Heritage Reference Committee - provides advice in relation to cultural heritage and local history. (quarterly)
Art Acquisition Reference Committee – provides advice and expertise in selection of works for Council’s art acquisition program. (annual)
Rupert Bunny Foundation Visual Arts Fellowship Reference Committee – provides advice and feedback for the awarding of the Rupert Bunny Fellowship. (biennial)
