Gosford Regional Gallery is calling for entries to the Gosford Art Prize 2020
The Gosford Art Prize is the premier art prize of the Central Coast region, with local and national artists engaged in friendly competition for over $25,000 in total prizes.
The exhibition of finalists at the Gosford Regional Gallery is an annual highlight of the exhibition program.

Changes for 2020
In 2020 the entry procedure has changed in line with our COVID-safe guidelines. This year finalists will be selected online and we will not be receiving entries in person at the Gallery. Only finalists will be invited to deliver their work to the Gallery and the prizes will be judged in-person prior to the exhibition at Gosford Regional Gallery. - Gosford Art Prize $30 per entry (max. two entries per artist)
- Ceramics Prize $20 per entry (max. two entries per artist)
First Prize – $15,000
Second Prize – $5,000
Aboriginal Artist Prize– $2,500
Gosford Ceramics Prize – $2,000
Highly Commended – $1,000 (two prizes)
Viewer’s Choice Award – $500
Entries close 30 August
Finalists announced 7 September
Prizes announced 25 September
Exhibition dates 26 September - 29 November

Prepare! You will need:
A good quality image of each artwork (limit of two) – see our Tips on documenting your artwork on our website.
Information about the artwork including title, medium, dimensions, sale price (or insurance value if not for sale)
Credit card to pay the entry fee online ($30 for Gosford Art Prize, $20 for Gosford Ceramics Prize).
Return to our webpage from 1 August to submit your entry online – all entries must be submitted online, we are not accepting walk-in entries this year.
You will be notified if your work is selected as a finalist. You do not need to deliver your artwork to the Gallery unless you are notified that your work has been selected.
