Make a mark on the city with $10k funding from City of Melbourne as part of its Test Sites program.
Test Sites offers you the chance to explore and experiment with creative ideas for temporary projects in the public realm.
The updated program now offers increased funding and longer timeframes for artists to engage more deeply with city scale thinking and civic dialogue, through the process of testing and trialling creative ideas in the public realm.
We’re looking for projects that respond to two briefs, Cooks Cottage in Fitzroy Gardens and the Melbourne Innovation Districts. These are a starting point for investigations and work to take place during 2019.
Test Sites is specifically designed to help you develop your ideas with a focus on the process of iterative development rather than the presentation of finished work. Funding of up to $10,000 is up for grabs and is open to local, interstate and international artists.
Applications open Wednesday 24 October and close Wednesday 5 December.
