Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery has THREE (3) COMMISSIONS valued at $6,200 as a hoarding creative project in celebration of its reopening on the 22nd November.
Due to a devastating fire that destroyed the adjacent Awaba House, and before the site can be reconstructed, the gallery is seeking Artists to complete a 10m length artwork to be affixed as hoarding around the building.
The successful Artists will receive the exterior quality panels (200cm height x 120m width). Each of the three winning artists will be given $5000 plus $1200 for materials.
Go to better.lakemac.com.au to submit an expression of interest. Entries close on Friday 11 October. Artworks need to be completed by Monday 18 November, ahead of the Art Gallery’s grand re-opening.
Although time is tight, this is a great opportunity so please forward on.
