Eden Unearthed: Art in the Gardens

Eden Unearthed callout is on for artworks that respond to Eden Gardens, an award winning garden in the heart of the Macquarie Park business district.

We have a unique situation here, located alongside Lane Cove National Park, M2 motorway Lane Cove Road. Installations and /or sculptures that involve ephemeral, kinetic or interactive elements, celebrate our unique community, or have participatory engagements are strongly encouraged. We are looking for works that use our garden as a canvas, our landscape as the plinth and celebrate nature in all its glory.  The site is unique and can accommodate large and small outdoor works in many ways -  suspended and floating installations are welcomed. Many sites have power and generous stipends are available to support artists complete their works.

There is also a $10,000 prize offered by Eden Gardens.Entries Close 30 April 2019

Applications are judged by an external panel and each successful application for new works will receive a $500 stipend.  Students are also encouraged to apply in our student section.  They can register their interest at curator@edengardens.com.au

Prizes will be announced at the launch.
