EOIs sought for $35,000 public artwork at Multi-Purpose Stadium in Wagga Wagga

Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from artists for artwork to be installed near the entrance to Wagga Wagga’s new Multi-Purpose Stadium (MPS).

Proposals will be accepted for sculptural works, lighting treatments and other ‘hard’ infrastructure artworks that are located in a landscaped courtyard adjacent to the main entrance of the Multi-Purpose Stadium, and to the Wagga Wagga Netball Association’s clubrooms.

The artwork must enhance the site’s aesthetic appeal and connect with the site’s intended use as:

  • A site of sporting excellence and recreational enjoyment
  • A regional hub and community meeting place
  • A venue suited to multiple sporting codes (netball, basketball, futsal and volleyball), and a wide range of community events

Download the Expression of Interest Guidelines and submit your application at www.publicartwagga.com.au/apply.
