Stockland Wetherill Park Laneways Art EOI

Stockland Wetherill Park regional shopping centre is situated within the City of Fairfield, one of the most culturally diverse communities within Australia. This represents a settling place for immigrants and migrants for over four decades starting from the 1950’s with over 70 languages spoken and 133 nationalities.

To celebrate over 35 years as a community hub, we would like to launch a Laneways Art opportunity in acknowledgment of International Migrants Day; this year’s theme is about capturing cohesions when old meets new in a spirit of hope and acceptance. We learn together, create together, work together, sing, dance and play together. We live together.

We are seeking expression of interests from Australian resident artists and sculptures to install 3 unique art works inspired by community stories and social cohesion. It is about embracing multicultural Australia and celebrate diversity to curate “A place to celebrate”.

Stage 1 EOI submissions are due on Sunday 14th February 2021.
