Sunshine Coast Art Prize 2020 Call for Entries

The Sunshine Coast Art Prize is one of the most dynamic and prestigious visual arts awards in Australia.

The diverse range of 40 works by established and emerging artists from across the country will be showcased in an exhibition at the Regional Gallery, Sunshine Coast from 20 August to 11 October, 2020.

The exhibition will be a reflection of outstanding contemporary 2D arts practice in Australia.

The Major Prize is $25,000 and is generously funded by Argon Law and Sunshine Coast Council. It is one of the primary means for new works to be acquired into the Sunshine Coast Art Collection.

Highly Commended prize is $5,000, generously funded by The De Deyne Family.

The People’s Choice prize is $2,500, generously funded by Caloundra Chamber of Commerce.

Two week hinterland artist residency by Montville Country Cabins and the Gallery.

Artwork transportation by IAS Fine Art Logistics and the Gallery.
