The City of Port Adelaide Enfield is seeking expressions of interests from operators who can bring engaging, unique and creative ideas, business, organisation and/or programs to Port Adelaide to maximise the potential of our building at 175 St Vincent Street and the historic precinct within which it sits. The property will be offered for a term of up to 5 years initially to the successful applicant, and the intended commencement date is 1 July 2020.
Proposals should have strong alignment with the Council’s City Plan (2030) outcomes, with particular alignment to the Placemaking theme. Attention will be given to proposals that seek to maximise community participation, encompass plans to further activate the space, include engagement with diverse groups within the community, have cultural significance, and/or relate to arts development. It is intended that the building will contribute to the Council’s plan to further activate the inner Port CBD.
Subject to the proposed use and evaluation process, non-for-profit organisations that offer community benefits can generally expect a peppercorn ($1 per annum on demand) rental fee from Council.
Applications close 14 April 2020.
