Take advantage of an exciting opportunity to access a creative community in our new Art Gallery, meet other artists and support your own career development. The 2021/22 Woollahra Artist in Residence Program is now calling for artists. The program will provide non-residential, furnished studios for 12 weeks at a time for artists to work in.
In return for rent-free use of the studio space, the resident artists will devise and deliver community projects which will require the active participation of Woollahra residents. Resident artists are also expected to grant studio access to visitors. During the residency, the artist is also encouraged to pursue their own work and will be provided with an allowance of $1,000 plus GST.
The 2021/22 Woollahra Artist in Residence Program will based at Council’s new Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf, located at 548 New South Head Road, Double Bay.
