The City of Sydney is inviting applications from organisations to create a new cultural or community hub in one of Haymarket’s best-loved heritage buildings.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all three floors of 744 George Street after Haymarket Library moves to Darling Square later this year.
The new tenant will enter into a three year lease with the potential to extend for a further two years.

Applicants should outline how they would transform the old library building into a new space for the local Haymarket community.
Applications close on Tuesday 27 August and the successful tenant is expected to move in by the end of 2019.
