Entries for the 2019 Short Cuts are now open.
2019 will see the Greater Dandenong Short Cuts Film Festival return for its fourth year.
Short Cuts celebrates art, community and storytelling by providing an artistic platform for local community members, emerging artists and accomplished professionals from across the globe to share their stories.
Entries are now open across the following three categories:
1. Emerging – current or recent film graduates with less than five years’ experience
2. Community/Student – primary and secondary students and people with no professional filmmaking training
3. Open – professional film makers
Over $5,000 in cash prizes are on offer across a number of categories.
This year’s festival will again be curated by Richard Moore and will be screened at Drum Theatre in October. Entries are $10 or free to residents of the City of Greater Dandenong.
