Knox City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from artists, teams of artists, and/or lighting designers for the creation and installation of a permanent lighting artwork in Lupton Way, Boronia.
The Lupton Way Public Art Lighting Project is funded by the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions Suburban Revitalisation Fund and Knox City Council.
Key Project objectives
• Provide a logical narrative for understanding place by considering the themes identified as important to Boronia
• Designed and installed reflecting good sustainability practices
• Reflect innovation and artistic excellence both in concept design and structural integrity
• Support placemaking and cultural tourism
Artists may quote on a single or series of works including concept development, design and installation. Full EOI details, including project themes are contained in the Artist brief.
