Wyndham City Council is seeking expressions of interest for suitably qualified artists to create a new artwork to be a feature of the recently redeveloped The Grange Community Centre, 260-280 Hogans Rd, Hoppers Crossing.
The artist will be commissioned to create a new 2D artwork which will be installed in the centre’s south-facing windows.
The finished works should reflect the input and expression of the community, but it is expected that the lead artist will be responsible for the overall quality, execution and concept of the finished work. The brief is for the artist/s artwork and design the artwork to supplier standards. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are strongly encouraged to submit an expression of interest.
Wyndham City will manage and pay for the print and installation of the final artwork.
The budget for the artwork design and artist fees is $20,000.
Expressions of Interest close at 5pm on Wednesday 12 August and should be submitted as a single pdf to firstname.lastname@example.org
