About the Course

Spinning human hair to create string and belts is an important traditional Aboriginal fibre technique. Kija-Walmajarri and Gooniyandi artists from Fitzroy Crossing will teach you how to spin hair into strands of string which can then be used for weaving and other purposes. Men and women are both welcome in this demonstration and workshop.

No experience required. All materials provided. Please note that human hair is used in this class.
