Illuminate my art

To coincide with Vivid Sydney, we have taken a look at innovative ways in which the fluorescent tube has become contemporary art.

With all the bravado of light projections we will enjoy of the next two weeks as Vivid engulfs Sydney, we decided to ride the pendulum swing and revert to the basic fluorescent tube and look at how artists have used it across time. 

Certainly cheaper, efficient and arguable aesthetically refined – one might ask are these light works just as spectacular? Our answer is yes.
