Nicole Durling has been working as a senior curator with The Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) since 2006 and is now Director, Collections and Exhibitions at the Hobart institution.

Growing up with parents who encouraged the family to visit galleries and museums, it’s no surprise Durling ended up where she did. But of course, dedication, hard work and a little bit of luck also had something to do with it.
