Anyone in the business will tell you that commercial galleries are risky. As Joanna Strumpf explained to ArtsHub: ‘Crazy-stroke-risky are the two words that you would most use when opening a commercial gallery … You already have to be pretty cool with risk to open a commercial gallery.’
