Conventional modes of experiencing art will be discarded when New York curator of olfactory art Chandler Burr’s international exhibit is shown at the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) from 25 September to 30 November.

Exhibit Hyper-Natural: Scent from Art to Design will present seven small scent stations shrouded in man-made clustered clouds scattered throughout the NGV’s garden, introducing the audience to the fascinating and under-acknowledged medium of olfactory design.
