Artist Lauren McCartney challenges male-dominated art traditions in her work Weight of Painting to be displayed at Paper Mountain in Northbridge, Perth.

McCartney injects femininity into the masculine and bold art form of ‘action painting’ made famous by the likes of Jackson Pollock, William de Kooning and Franz Kline.
