On Wednesday (20 March), one of China’s most important contemporary artists Cai Guo-Qiang, created one of his iconic gunpowder drawings in a Melbourne dockside warehouse.  The 31-meter artwork,Transience II (Peony) was created as stencils and native flora were placed upon silk then ignited by gunpowder.
