From Grandma’s garden to a freeway near you

A new public sculpture will make a fairy-tale journey out of an ordinary commute on Melbourne’s Peninsula Link freeway.

A nine metre tall highly reflective stainless steel garden gnome is soon to make Melbourne’s Peninsula Link freeway its home.

Gregor Kregar is the third artist to be awarded the Southern Way McClelland Commission. His monumental sculpture Reflective Lullaby will be craned onto site at the Cranbourne Road exit, Langwarrin,16-17 July.
