A new project launching across 200 railway stations this month, prompts the question what might define a gallery space, and when does the line of advertising blur with art?

Located in the public restrooms – aka toilets – of railways stations from Chatswood to Redfern and beyond, the media company Smartbox has entered the advertising market with a twist.
