A word that comes to mind when describing painter Annette Bezor is ‘vibrant’ – both in palette, and for her spirited approach to life.
Her long-time dealer Stuart Purves, of Australian Galleries, posted earlier this week about Bezor’s death: ‘It was her optimistic spirit, her clear and real belief in how life worked for her, her unwavering devotion to her work with its clear support, respect and admiration for women and their unsung power from her first picture to her last.
